Inca Jungle Trek to Machu picchu

The adventure begins at 7:00 to 7:30 am, with the pick up from their respective hotels, then we will move towards the Sacred Valley, to reach the first starting point the Abra Malaga (4 316 meters above sea level).

At 10:00 am we will arrive at “Abra Malaga”, we will make the preparations to start with the bike tour, after the briefing with our guide about the use of security and we will be given the complete equipment for this activity, the adventure begins cycling through the high jungle of Quillabamba.

During a 3-hour bike ride of approximately 55 km, we will enjoy beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, rivers, fruit orchards until we reach our next destination Huaman Marca, where our guide will give us a brief overview of the place. Here we will have lunch and rest until the next day.

After lunch, we will continue around 1:30 to 2:00 pm we will arrive at the village of Santa Maria, the place of our first camp in a lodge owned by a local family.

We will have a delicious lunch based on local ingredients and spend the night.

After lunch we will have the option of rafting (not included), this river offers category III rapids. For this, we will depart with full equipment such as helmets, windbreakers, and category V life jackets (available from April to December).

After our rafting activity, we will return to our camp to enjoy a delicious dinner.

The day will begin at 6:00 am after enjoying a good breakfast we will make a descent to Quellomayo, arriving at approximately noon, where we will have lunch and continue our walk to Santa Teresa.

We will make a stop at the beautiful hot springs of Cocalmyo before arriving in Santa Teresa, where we will relax.

When we arrive in Santa Teresa we will stay at a hostel, where a delicious dinner awaits us and we will rest comfortably until the next day.

This day we will start with the great adventures, doing Zipline where they will give us the equipment and the respective safety talks, this section of the tour will last 2 hours; then we will go to Lucma bamba where we will hike to the archaeological center of “Llacta pata” (2736 masl), the archaeological center is surrounded by terraces and Qolqas.

From here we will be able to appreciate the famous Puerta del Sol “IntiPunku”, then we will begin the descent towards the Hydroelectric, and in the place we will rest and have lunch.

We will prepare for our last trek to Machu Picchu Pueblo, we will have a 3 hour walk surrounded by dense vegetation and the railroad that accompanies the trip.

Upon arrival at Machu Picchu Pueblo, we will go to our hotel, where we will receive the necessary instructions to do the tour to Machu Picchu.

Very early at 4:30 am we will have breakfast, then we will start with our guide a 2 hour walk to Machu Picchu.

Already at the Entrance Gate, we will start the tour up to the Guardian’s house, from where we will see the majesty of Machu Picchu and take the picture of stamp next to the Huaynapicchu. Then we will descend observing its streets, squares, urban centers, agricultural centers and religious centers, a tour of 2 hours and a half by the Inca city.

At the end you can visit the Huaynapicchu Mountain (make your reservation in advance), then we will return to Machu Picchu Pueblo, on the way we will have the option to visit the Inca Museum, the Butterfly Farm and free activities such as visiting the hot springs of Machu Picchu and the beautiful waterfall of Machu Picchu, until 30 minutes before the departure of the train.

In Ollantaytambo, our private transport will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.

We finish our service with drop off at your hotel.
